This shirt design centers on the theme of intimacy, both emotional and physical. Created by fusing two shirts at the yoke, the garments face each other, mirroring the closeness of two people in connection. When worn, the shirts evoke a quiet dialogue between bodies, suggesting mutual gaze and unspoken understanding.I used ice dyeing with red and blue pigments, colors often associated with opposing energies. As they melted and merged, they formed purple at the center: the color of intimacy, emotion, and unity. The piece is multifunctional, one sleeve can be removed, allowing the shirts to be layered or worn individually. The red shirt peeks out from beneath the blue, creating a visible tension between what’s exposed and what remains hidden, echoing the layered, shifting nature of closeness.
