This melancholic dress transforms the garment bag pattern into a wilted flower silhouette. The design incorporates two prints: the floral print, created by pressing real wilted flowers into black ink, engraving them onto a plate, and transferring the image onto fabric; and the abstract print, hand-drawn veins of the flowers, applied with silk screening to the lower half of the dress. A light organza overlay partially conceals and reflects both prints, adding depth and fragility. The layered construction and intricate print techniques create an emotional, performance-ready piece that embodies melancholy in motion.
